I paint switch plates, electrical outlets, control panels, floor registers, utility boxes or other small objects to blend into the surfaces on which they are mounted. By replicating the color and texture I am able to recreate your granite, tile or marble patern. In blending a fixture into a hewn stone wall, I paint the light and shadow as well as the texture to create a trump d'oiel. Because I work on the job site, I can carry the surrounding elements off the wall material into the object I am painting. In this way, I can create an uninterrupted look for your back splash or wall. When matching wood finishes, I paint in distress marks as well as the grains.

My product is made durable through a process of sanding, special primers and multiple finishing coats. The finish will hold up to washing with soap and water and light rubbing with plastic scour pads.

I have been doing faux painting for 7 years. I studied faux painting at Westchester Community College where I earned an associates degree in Fine Arts. My background includes 27 years work as a designer in New York City and a bachelors's degree from Cornell University. I am a Park City resident.
